TAMRO was founded by its present owner Mr. Tom Vaughan and initially set up in Hangar 3 at the Upwood site. In the early days TAMRO dealt mainly with fuel and hydraulic components, supporting the engine overhaul shop in Hangar 1 and aircraft wheels and brakes.
This fuel and hydraulic capability was later transferred to our sister company in Dublin Jet Technology Centre

www.jtc.ie and a new structures shop was established in Hangar 3 to compliment the existing wheel and brake shop. The structures shop is currently being moved to a new facility in Hangar 1 where it will enjoy more floor space and improved facilities.
TAMRO MRO facility receives products for servicing based on either
scheduled maintenance or line removals for fault rectification.
We are able to offer a range of repair solutions from overhaul
to major and minor repair. We can also offer on wing support
with sheet metal and bonded repair capability and
have a range of rotable stock in storage at Upwood.
Structure Shop
We currently specialize in Nacelle components and flight control surface for B737, B767, DC10, A300 and A320 aicraft.
Wheel & Brake Shop
The wheel & brake workshop has capabillity to repair & overhaul on DC10, B707, B737, B747, B757, B767 aicraft.
