TMW secures approval for wheel & brake overhaul

Turbine Motor Works today secured EASA 145 approval from the Civil Aviation Authority to commence operations in its wheel and brake division. The newly established shop will provide overhaul and repair services for both the wheel and brake units installed on DC10 and Boeing 707 series aircraft. This represents our first step into establishing accessory and component overhaul operations at Upwood. A contract to support DAS Air Cargo’s six DC10-30F aircraft has been secured, with operations commencing immediately.
